Wine in San Remo offers a full program of interesting encounters and great wine-tasting. We could not possibly omit from this event the Rossese of Dolceacqua, pearl of the Imperia interior territory. This is the first Ligurian wine ever to obtain DOC status, in l972. The vines grow in a fascinating area balanced between the Alps and the sea. Following Barolo and Barbaresco, from this year, thanks to cooperation amongst the producers, Rossese di Dolceacqua can boast additional geographic denotations, particularly its zone of production, limited to the interior of the territory as authorized by the regulations. In terms of French designation, we can speak of “cru”. The producers of Dolceacqua call it “nomeranze”.
On Sunday 11 October at 12 o’clock don’t miss the appointment for the presentation of the study “The Rossese of Dolceacqua and its Cru” led by Filippo Rondelli and Alessandro Giocobbe. It will be followed by a tasting of a selection of Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC wines.
